Our Mission To provide resources of housing, services, education and treatment for women whose lives have been affected by addiction, abuse and trauma through a Christ Centered approach that transforms lives through love.
Our Purpose We exist to serve and glorify God through Christ-Centered ministry that meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those struggling in bondage from abuse, addiction and trauma.
1- Community Awareness- reaching out to all walks of life and sharing our stories of how addiction, abuse and trauma affects all of us: sons, daughters, parents, children, grandchildren and friends. We believe families are as much affected as those suffering from substance abuse disorders. We want to bring education and resources to children and families who need support and mentorship. Our goal is to create a community center with programs for families, children and those in recovery.
2- Holistic Safe Place Housing program - will provide a 30 day Focused Christ Centered approach to short term residential program for women affected by homelessness, abuse and substance abuse, sexual exploitation that has two components of Initial entry and Freedom program until long term beds open up. Our goal is to keep them safe from returning to the streets and begin their journey to recovery.
3-Freedom Resting Place Safe House for Women- A Focused Christ Centered approach to a transitional Recovery where those women who need healing can have a safe recovery and transitional housing as they reclaim their lives and reenter into the community. We utilize case managers, counseling, life skills, job training and moving toward freedom. This is a 6-8month program.
4-Business Social Enterprise/ provides opportunities for those in the Freedom Resting Place program to provide employment opportunities.
At our facilities, all backgrounds will be afforded the opportunity to seek refuge from addiction crisis that results in homelessness, abuse and trauma and other issues. Residents will be offered a comprehensive recovery support system, including Christ -Centered counseling for drug use recovery and prevention, abuse, and life issues in general.
In addition, we plan to deliver related social services intended to provide our clients with the ability to become productive members of society and achieve long term self-sufficiency. We will work to provide clients and their families with anger management techniques, life skills, coping skills, money management, job placement, etc. It is our overarching goal to ensure that our clients continue to be successful once they reach their permanency goals. Whether they reunify with families, transition into other transitional living programs, or move into their own home or apartment, we focus on giving them the skills they’ll need to continue to lead healthy, stable lives.
