Our Mission Breaking Free Ministry uses resources of housing, services, and job opportunities for women whose lives have been affected by abuse, trauma, resulting in addiction, abuse, sex trafficking through a Christ Centered approach that transforms lives through love.
Our Purpose We exist to serve and glorify God through Christ-Centered ministry that meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those struggling in bondage from abuse, addiction and trauma.
Our Vision 1- Community Awareness- reaching out to all walks of life and sharing our stories of how abuse, addiction, and trauma affects all of us: sons, daughters, parents, children, grandchildren and friends. We believe families are as much affected as those suffering from substance abuse disorders. We want to bring education and resources to children and families who need support and mentorship. Our goal is to create a community center within the next 3-5 years with programs for families, children.
2- Freedom Safe House for Women- A Focused Christ Centered approach to a women's residence program where those women who need healing can have a safe place to heal and receive freedom as they reclaim their lives and reenter into the community. We utilize case managers, counseling, group studies, accountability, life skills, job training and move toward freedom. This is a 6-12 month program with an additional transitional and aftercare program of mentorship and discipleship following the residence program.
3-Restored Enterprises-Business Social Enterprise/ provides opportunities for those in the Freedom Resting Place program to provide employment opportunities. We are creating businesses which will allow the women to learn life skills, job skills, communication skills and give them a sense of purpose.
4-RESTORED LIFE Outpatient Counseling Center for women in the community. They will be able to receive 9-15 hours a month of counseling after they leave the residence program. We plan to open within 1-2 years and it will be open to the women and children in the community.
5-Freedom homes-these are Freedom Living homes that will be available to the women completing our program. These will be within 2 years and the residents will pay a weekly rent and be required to followup in counseling and other activities.
At our facilities, all backgrounds will be afforded the opportunity to seek refuge from crisis that results in homelessness, abuse, addiction and trauma and other issues. Residents will be offered a comprehensive support system, including Christ -Centered counseling for drug use, abuse, and life issues in general.
In addition, we plan to deliver related social services intended to provide our clients with the ability to become productive members of society and achieve long term self-sufficiency. We will work to provide clients and their families with life skills, coping skills, money management, job placement, etc. It is our overarching goal to ensure that our clients continue to be successful once they reach their permanency goals. Whether they reunify with families, transition into other transitional living programs, or move into their own home or apartment, we focus on giving them the skills they’ll need to continue to lead healthy, stable lives.
