Application Process

 This is a Voluntary program. All Applicants must complete an application and have a phone pre-interview. The Christ- Centered Residence Program has guidelines for admission.

WHAT TO BRING

Purpose: to provide a residential safe house for those in need of housing while recovering from abuse, substances and sexual exploitation and to set the foundation for healing through a Christ- Centered healing program.
What to bring:

• 1 suitcase
• 10 changes of clothes
  (No sleeveless shirts unless cardigan over shirt; no low cut tee shirts)
• 3 pairs of shoes
  (1 shoes, 1 sneakers, 1 shower shoes)
• 10 pairs/ socks
• Robe
• 10 pairs/ underwear- must wear underwear and no thongs
• Any prescribed medications (will be discussed during interview). We do not accept MAT during program. We will discuss during interview.
• Smoking is allowed and is a privilege and is limited to 7 cigarettes a day but we do not provide cigarettes so please bring with you
• State ID
• Insurance card (if applicable)

Please do not bring: (These things will not be allowed on property and if brought will be destroyed)

• Cell phones
• Pocket knives
• Bleach products
• Food or drinks
• Electronics of any kind
• Expensive jewelry
• Playing cards
• Books or magazines
• Coat hangers
• Personal vehicles

Please seek prior approval before bringing anything else.

Requirements

• Residents must be ages 18 and over.
• Freedom Resting Place is unable to accommodate children at this time.
• Our program is Christ Centered discipleship healing residential program. We will be provide holistic Treatment  which includes Spirtual, Physical and Mental program elements to include Peer Support, Case managers, and pastoral counselors. Residents will be expected to participate in a structured focused bible based program. While in the residential program, they will be able to continue to heal from the effects on their body as needed.
• Residents with cars will be unable to drive while in the program.
• No Cell Phones will be used while in the program/No exceptions.
• Residents may not use alcohol, drugs and may not have sexual relationships, or be in ANY type of relationship during the entire program. (not abiding by ANY of these will be immediate dismissal from the program).
• Violent offenders, arsonists will not be accepted to this Residence Program
• Residents are allowed to smoke in permitted area’s only in limited amounts.
• Residents must comply with periodic room searches and drug & alcohol testing.
• Applicants with mental illness will be considered on a case-by-case basis, based on program and staffing capability.
• Following the application process, will be a phone pre-interview to determine whether the program will be a fit for the potential resident. Additional details will be reviewed at that time.
• There are requirements which we call Steps. Steps are based on what the resident has accomplished and is NOT based upon time.
