Transitional ProgramWhy Choose a 12 month Program ?Empowering Women for Lasting Transformation
At Breaking Free Ministry, we work with families, individuals, probation officers, and courts across Kentucky and beyond to help women rebuild their lives. Through our program, we have achieved a 72% success rate over the past six years, with women leaving our program equipped with stable employment, housing, transportation, and active participation in their communities. Our program is a journey of healing and restoration, designed to mend the broken, address deep wounds, and help women rediscover their true identity. Our mission is to break destructive cycles, empower women to find purpose, and lead them to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Many of the women who come to Breaking Free have faced overwhelming challenges, often cycling through multiple treatment facilities and working with various therapists without long-term success. At Breaking Free, we see beyond their struggles—we recognize their potential. Our approach provides the healing and transformation needed for lasting recovery. Through our program, women learn to communicate in healthy ways, restore relationships, set personal goals, and reintegrate into their communities with confidence. As they progress, they develop crucial skills in accountability, recognizing triggers, and building a strong support system before stepping out into a new life of freedom. Each resident receives individualized care planning tailored to her unique needs, ensuring optimal healing and preparation for independent living. Our comprehensive support system includes case managers, counselors, peer support specialists, and pastoral counselors, all working together to guide women toward success. At Breaking Free, we celebrate every milestone, but most importantly, we ensure that no woman walks alone. Our aftercare program provides continued support, encouragement, and accountability beyond graduation. True transformation begins with a willingness to change, and we are honored to walk this journey with you. If you have any questions or need support, we are here for you. Together, we can break the chains of the past and step into a future of freedom! Jeanie Lemaster, RN, Founder/Executive Director |
